Transcription: In spring 1917 troops were battling around the French town of Arras. In the air the Royal Flying Corps carried the battle well beyond the enemy lines and the German flying service was greatly outnumbered. The combination of better aircraft and well-prepared pilots led to catastrophic British losses. The month became known as Bloody April. Baron Rigthoven, as a reward for achieving 52 kills, was given leave. Rigthoven handed over command of his Jastan to his brother Lothar. This was Lothar's opportunity to excel.
